we were at shabbos sheva brachos for my brother whos wifes family is very european and proper, my niece couldnt pronounce her 'R's at the time so when she lost her croc she screamed out so everyone could hear 'COCKY!' she meant croc and didnt even know the word cocky but of course my sister in laws family thought she meant cocky lol

My eldest was about 7 or eight and we had a table full of guests.
Towards the end of the meal she looked at her plate and said, in a loud voice, "Ima, I'm fed up".

We all laughed (hey we are in Israel) and knew she meant "I'm full up"

It became a family expression after that.

1) Came out of my room, waving my bra, to the full Shabbos table saying "nurse! Nurse!" (17 mo) shock

2) not mine, but I heard a story where a 4 yo girl was told by her parents that if you lie, your tummy swells up as a punishment. One day her aunt walked in the house, heavily pregnant, and the kid goes over to her and whispers, "I know what YOU did!" LOL

My 3 year old dd came into the fitting room with me while I was trying on a skirt. She starts singing really loud, "I see your panties, I see your panties! "

My son started calling the stuff in his diaper Cholent. This was picked up from a boy in his Gan. We were by my mother for Shabbos and he did his business. I went to change him. He took the dirty diaper and goes to put it in the garbage. Instead he goes over to my mother who was serving cholent and says "Bubby here is Cholent". The entire table bursts out laughing so he is encouraged. He went into the kitchen and got a spoon. He sat down, opened the bag, opened the diaper, picked up a spoonful of "Cholent" and started offering it to my siblings!

she pointed at grandmothers breasts and said how come they are so big? we all tried to shush her but she didn't get it. this was during kiddush at a shabbos seuda. she kept asking

personal story: my 3y old DD has difficulty pronouncing the letter "R", so instead of fork or frog, she said something that sounded like f*k. On her first day of school, I got funny looks from her teachers. I later explained, and everyone laughed.

My 2 year old pointed at some people at a party and loudly proclaimed "I'm angry at that old woman!", "I don't like that old woman", and "That old woman is scary!" (about three different women, none of whom we knew).

I was pregnant with my oldest DD when my DS was about 2+. We went out to a local pizza place one night and there was a clearly non-Jewish cop sitting at the next table. DS, while waiting for his pizza, turns to me and says in his very loud, piercing voice, "How do ladies get pregnant anyway?" I almost crawled under the table (if I could have fit) and just whispered "this is not the place to talk about it. We'll discuss it when we get home." B"H he forgot all about things by the time we got home!

someone asked us to host a very important guest from out of town, a Rav. We were sitting at the table just me him and 3 y.o. DD, while my dh was busy in the bathroom with our DS. At this moment, my dd started asking me why I have nursies and telling me she also wants to have them, and she crawled on my lap and started touching the "nursies". The rav was sitting across the table from me, spacing out (or just pretending to). I was so embarrassed!

My little DD hit my MIL embarrassed

And my very dear oh dear MIL took it all to heart...she was seriously mad and waited for an apology. She didn't understand that she's a baby. She told DH that we need therapy to train her not to do such a thing....
(of course I told my daughter that's wrong, but MIL acted like a 2 yr old herself....) Rolling Eyes

3 year old has done this to me too many times

*asked my friend experiencing infertility "WHERES YOUR BABY?" the silence that followed was deafening.

*I complained to DH to help get rid of the "freakin bugs" in our apt...a few days later at a family simcha she yelled "look a freakin bug!"

*I told her when she thinks someone looks "different" (special needs, overweight...) she shouldnt say things that could hurt their feelings, when we passed by a very weird looking guy she said "right he DOES NOT look crazy"

*we saw a midget adult man...said "look! a shabbos totty"

I also think it's cute - just like the boy who called a black kid a "chocolate boy". That doesn't make me a racist or prejudiced.
