I will be getting my PDF printed for me by a printer. (I am more of a hard copy type person) the more copies I get the cheaper it will be. If anyone who can pick up in far Rockaway is interested in joining me let me know. The more copies I get the cheaper.

THIS IS NOT BEING SOLD simply printed for myself to have a hard copy and I am offering others to go in on it with me if they would like. I am located in far Rockaway. I will not ship. (Sorry not making this a business) will need some kind of proof that you either contributed or "bought" a copy by giving to the tzdaka before giving you your copy. (I don't want this to be a way around giving for people)

Printing from my home computer would actually be more expensive than sending it out.

Edit to reiterate I am not profiting off this and doing it for my self and offering it to others at cost.

I'm in. Let me know if you need any help gettig it to or from te printer. My printer at home doesn't work so I was going to email it to my husband to print at work....this works much better :-)

I stopped reading the suppers for a year because I just thought everyone was ranting and raging about the recipes being sold. I just looked to now and see that wispalover is making a new one???
Can someone fill me in on the details as I realize I am too late in adding....

So basically after a little raving and ranting, wispalover decided to be a proactive tzadekes and put together (what is going to be) a beautiful printable (I think) cookbook. People who contributed will get it for free, and others can contribute $5 to a tzedaka (scroll through the thread to find out who to pm for more info about that) and then they will receive a copy also. If you are in the far rockaway/bayswater/5T area and would like a hard copy, let splitpea know in a pm. Hope I got all the info in!

I think it had not been decided how to collect the money for tzdaka yet. The cookbook is not out yet and I am sure there will be info out on where/how to donate closet to it being finished

I was going to send you back an email, but I decided this is more appropriate. I want to publicly thank you for all the hard work you (and others) have put in to make this cook book possible. Also I know you are very busy this week and next, so it is EXTRA awesome that you are taking time to respond to each person to let them know you received their email.

I WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE I am not selling copies of the cookbook. I am not the person to contact about "getting a copy" or "sending $5" That is another person. I am ONLY printing copes for those who already have a PDF copy. ie have paid whoever there is to pay or submitted a recipe.

Also I don't think it has been decided How to pay or how to give the tzdaka. Everyone is guessing naming people and I am sure those people are not so happy with their inbox filling up. I am SURE it will be announced here who to pay and when. that info has NOT been given out yet.

Since the book hasn't been 'published' yet you'll have to wait until more information is posted on this thread.

Wispalover, I want to just commend you for being a doer, seeing a need and doing something about it. While so many people were upset that the original person compiling the cookbook left them with nothing, you decided to be proactive and do something about it. Thank you so much for taking the time to get it done quickly and efficiently. Not only are you organizing and putting it together, but you are also keeping everyone updated every step of the way and letting us know how you are holding.

I appreciate what you are doing and I'm very impressed that you did something productive and positive instead of just wondering or complaining what happened to the original poster who planned to do this.

I hope that all of your endeavors result in a successful compilation of supper ideas.
