I made some chicken schnitzle and froze it for family (and possibly guests)to eat while I am away.

I usually leave food hot in oven on a timer on friday night, but I usually make roast chicken or meat roast. Also I never freeze food so I am really unsure how to defrost and reheat schnitzle so it tastes good.

They can eat it cold but I think it would be nicer hot, so what should I tell dh to do with it so it will not taste dried out? (bearing in mind it will be left in a low oven for a couple of hours)

Any ideas?

Maybe he should reheat them in a sauce?

Reheating in sauce is yummy, but try this: defrost it first and then put it in the frying pan with a smear of oil, really a drop. It will become crispy all over again. You can also serve it room temperature cut in strips in a wrap with other stuff (tomato, lettuce, avocado, French fries).
