Quick Chanukah "party" menu
Wow. Where do I begin...
Would the menu be different if it were a party and not a "party"?
Is the party, or "party" quick, or is it the menu?
If the latter do you mean the food should be quick to make or eat?
I guess I'll have to open the thread to see if I can be of any assistance.
(Obviously these are more than very immediate reactions. I was immediately captivated by the quotation marks.)

poem for present needed desperately
How about this:
I need a present desperately;
Can you please buy one now for me?
Some jewelry or electronics will do,
And maybe then I'll buy one for you.

I think you should take your hands off of your OT.
She could sue you for harassment.

Totally off topic, but in college one of my friends had a game called Nuclear War. It was a pretty great game, and it makes me rather said that it's out of print so I can't get a copy...

Can you give us some parameters? Like what does the perch like to eat, how many you're cooking for, any sensitivities, etc.?

what dip will go with pita chips?
No girl will go with Peter Chips if you call her a "dip". That's a very disrespectful way to talk about your shidduch clients.

That actually happened to me once. I was a young single, in grad school (this was before cell phones), and had just moved to a small apartment with a gas stove and oven, which I had never used before. I called my parents to ask why the oven wasn't lighting automatically, and my dad told me how to light the pilot light. Then, the ringer got knocked to off, and I didn't know it. By Shabbos, my parents were quite concerned that I might have blown myself up!
