Their payment after each session should be enough. If you are personal eough to give a gift, then it doesn't have to be therapist-specific. You have become friends. (and is that healthy?)

What kind of therapist? Your child's OT, PT, SEIT? Or your own psychotherapist? If the former, maybe a nice hand/body cream, something natural is always appreciated. If the latter, it depends on your relationship. I think it's nice to express your appreciation in words, on a nice card, words from your heart.

I agree with bove suggestion. Maybe a gift card to Borders or something? If it is your therapist, check with him or her first. Some of them have policies not to take gifts from clients.

When my kids age out of EI, I gave the therapist a little gift. One time, a Macys gift card, another time some little lechaim glasses.

You can buy a big box of mini perfume samplers and write a beautiful card. Then, wrap the card in ribbon and tie one of the perfume into the bow http://www.club-offers.com/per.....fume/ one, per therapist.

Poems and cards are beautiful to give but I think most therapists appreciate a nice gift better.
I did give many therapists Silver jewelry,Pocket-books,Scarves etc.they loved it and always remembered us!
