Hi,
Im looking for a recipe for breaded flounder that is fried, and has a strong lemon flavor. Preferably something simple.
Im new in the kitchen, therefore a bit clueless...

I haven't tried this with flounder, I make with tilapia; but I think this would work too:
Ingredients:
Lemon juice
Fish, I cut into smaller pieces, 2-3 inches long
Eggs
Bread crumbs (I use left over challah)
Spices such as lemon pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
Oil to fry - I usually use half olive oil and half canola oil
Marinate fish in lemon juice 15-20 min.
Add whatever spices you want to bread crumbs. I usually use lemon pepper, some onion powder and a little garlic powder, sometimes some dried parsley.
After fish marinates in lemon juice, dip fish in egg; dip in bread crumbs. Dip in egg again; dip in bread crumbs again. Now fry on stove, several minutes each side until golden brown color.
This is a big hit when I make it. I serve with homemade tartar sause (mayo, pickled relish or diced pickles, dash of red wine vinegar)
This also makes a great fish sandwich. Serve with hamburger bun - 2-3 small pieces of fish on bun, great with sliced tomatoes and tartar sauce.

This recipe also works for pesach if you use matzah meal. Just substitute matzah meal for bread crumbs.
