does anyone here have a recipe for a SAVORY sweet potato pie, as in a sweet potato pie that is not the typical sweet one with brown sugar and marjarine, but with savory salty spices?

It's not a pie, but I peel and slice sweet potatoes and regular potaotes, toss with crushed black pepper, kosher salt and oil. Cover with aluminum foil and bake until soft. Then I bake uncovered until they get a bit crispy.

I do the same as Kmelion, but I add onions too, and for the spices I put in Garlic and Herb spice, and dill, plus I put over it olive oil (a little bit) and a bit of soy sauce.

Wow, everyone's menus looked great!
It was only me and DH this week, so I tried something new.
I boiled up a bag of thin egg noodles, added a couple eggs, a little mayo, fake sour cream, and two sauteed onions. ( divided it and put a layer in a baking pan and baked it till it set.
I browned meat, added mushrooms and mixed veggies. Mixed it together with an egg, spices and bread crumbs, and put a layer of that on top of the noodles.
After that baked a few minutes, I poured the second layer of noodles over the meat and baked it a little while longer.
DH really liked it!
