I think it's a great chag but Succos os just better and longer. Maybe people think of ST when they think of Succos.

B4 I was married I loved Shavous. I went to a shul where all the women danced and had fun. Now, I tell my husband to go to shul with the kids and I go to sleep.
I really don't think it's fun watching other people have a good time. In fact, I think it's fairly rude the think that women actually enjoy being shoved aside to let other people have a good time and we will have such a good time watching others dance!!
Every shul in our area does this. Many women seem to be ok with the mechitza being pushed aside to let the men have more room and the women sit around and watch.

I love shavous. The food is great and the weather is nice. We always have light meals, bagels and lox, sushi, gazpacho soup, and of course cherry chocolate cheesecake.
What could be better than ice cream at shul?
