This soup can be served hot or cold, is delicious and super easy.
Play around with proportions-nothing needs to be exact.
Boil a pot of water. In it, put bay leaf, whole peeled onion, a few cubed carrots(at least 3 large), cut up parsnips(2 or 3) and potatoes(optional). Bring to boil again and season to taste with salt, dill , parsley, paprika and whatever other spices you like. Add liquid from two cans of canned salmon.Flake the salmon in a separate bowl, discarding any bones. Add it to the soup when vegetables begin to soften. Then add a package of imitation crab sticks, chopped. Cook another 15 minutes and serve hot, or chill and serve cold.Sprinkle dill on top if desired

This sounds really interesting. Do you know how long it keeps, and if it holds up well to being reheated? Thanks for sharing.

I made a huge pot this morning and its mostly gone because my kids like 3 bowls each with croutons. It keeps for 3 -4 days. I don't reheat-it's good cold or room temperature. It has this unique sweet and savory flavor that I love
