my DS was born the exact same gestational age weighing 4 pounds. BH he is now 2 and healthy and amazing!!
THe time in the NICU is not easy, but it fades and becomes a memory so quickly. make sure to spend lots of time with you daughter when you feel up to it, and make sure to touch her/hold her and talk to her as much as possible!

I was born at 31 weeks almost 4 decades ago (!) at almost the identical weight and though I was petite for a while, you'd never know it now! Mazel tov, may you have much nachas!!

I wanted to update everybody...B"H my baby came home from the NICU this week(just in time for the purim/pasach insanity!)
she is 6 weeks old and 6lbs 6oz. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!
