ok prof secret here........
I dont know the exact recipe for that tuna, as ive never tried it, but many places grind rye bread or leftover bread into their tuna. it not only extends the tuna, but it gives it a good taste.

Feigy- mind my ignorance embarrassed but how would I grind rye bread? (only way I can think of is to let it dry up a little, and then put it in the food processor with the knife??? Please advise.... as I"ve got to try this!)

about LKWD tuna, doesn't have little pieces of carrot and celery in it? (cut into small pieces and then place in food processor with knife to make into really small pieces. (not mush, just small, small pieces)

They obviously use the good kind of white tuna, and real hellman's mayo.

613 -- can you help me out here?
If one grinds bread into a food, which is not later cooked, so the ground up bread is still bread, wouldn't that be a shaila on what bracha the new food is?

the bread, as it is, can be put thru a grinder with the tuna and egg.

Don't know if it's a shaila even, I think it's straight up hamotzi!

Who wants hamotzi tuna salad? (Unless you're only going to be eating in in a sandwich...)

I think it might be a shaila since it's just a "binder", but usually when it binds, it's later cooked like in meatballs or hamburgers...never heard of it in something not cooked Very Happy
