I haven't tried it myself yet Smile That being said, here goes:

Apple Carrot Kugel

4 cups very finely shredded or grated carrots
1 1/2 cups finely shredded or grated apples
1/3-1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp grated lemon peel
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
1/4 cup sugar to taste
1-2 tbsp vegetable oil, as needed

topping:
1/4 cup toasted almonds
1/3 cup coconut
1/3 cup raisins

Preheat oven. to 350°. Lightly spray or grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. Combine all of the kugel ingredients in a bowl, using 1/3 cup of flour and mix until thoroughly moistened. Add more flour as necessary, depending on how much liquid the carrots and apples produce.

Mix together the topping ingredients with a little water and spread the mixture on the top of the kugel. Bake for 20-30 minutes, checking frequently. Remove from the oven when the kugel starts to turn a light golden brown.

For a firmer kugel, use 1 cup flour and 2 eggs.

I hope this is a good recipe. Enjoy!
