Did anyone see/make the recipe for gefilte fish that was in Family first last week. I remember that it was gefilte fish in a loaf pan with honey and onions. I want to make it this week, but I misplaced the recipe. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, can you post the recipe?

It was Honey-Garlic Fefilte Fish a few weeks back:

2 loaves gefilte fish, defrosed
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 medium Vidalia onion, diced
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
5 tbsp honey

Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Grease a large loaf pan, approximately 10 x 4 x 4 inches. Unwrap the fish logs and place inside pan. Smooth down with a moistened spatula.
Heat oil in a small frying pan. Add onion and saute until golden, about 10 minutes. Add garlic and honey to onions and bring to a boil.
Turn off flame. Pour onion and honey mixture evenly over fish. Bake for 1 hour, uncovered.

Enjoy!

Just checked the Aug 8 and Aug 15 issues... couldn't find the recipe! Are you sure it wasn't in Binah, maybe?

I'm *thinking* about making it. But I'm worried that DH and the kids may not like it....
