I wish I could go! if is was going, I would definitely wear Shabbos clothes, this is a major simcha for all of klal yisroel in my opinion! probably something shabbosdik but not overly fancy, it would hav to be comfortable for all that sitting, lining up etc.

I am wearing something Shabbos-dik, but on the more casual side of Shabbos-dik. Nice black skirt, sleeveless silky-ish black vest, black shell and colored scarf. We are flying in the morning and going straight there so I need to travel fully dressed and ready.

If I were going I would be wearing a raincoat and boots. DH just told me there is supposed to be a thunderstorm during the siyum.
Have fun everyone whose going!

I still can't decide if I should go. If I do I'll be wearing my baby.
Probably nicer weekday.

[Should I go with my baby? - my SIL is practically BEGGING me to babysit my kids so I can go and my dh learns daf yomi, but has another 6 months until his siyum]

I also heard they may reschedule if the weather is expected to be very bad.

I will also have a lightweight raincoat with a hood, a rain hat and an umbrella. We have box seats though, thanks to a very generous relative which are enclosed, so I only need to worry about it going in and out of the stadium to the seats.

They have already announced that they will not be rescheduling and the Siyum will be held as planned tomorrow.

Sorry, we received the 2 tickets as a gift. Some of my kids are going from Lakewood and would love to join us, but all of the box's seats are taken Smile

I'll just have to bring along my rain jacket, umbrella and towel for the seat!
Sounds like fun!

I think they are sold out. You can try calling 1-877-Siyum12 and ask.

Anyone else going with a baby?

I went. With baby.

It ranged from suits and clothes with shiny stuff like to a party, to really casual.
Shpitzels and turbans to short sleeves.

Many men had a white shirt, there were also coloured shirts and plain "regular" dress.

Arrive in the first if you want to have a seat and meal!! lol
