does the recipe call for salt?
what are the ingredients and the amounts?
I usually don't put in salt in my honey mustard as Dijon mustard has enough.

the culprit might be the soy sauce, which can get very salty. you can try reduced sodium soy sauce AND use less than it calls for. also, as ramom said, the mustard will add saltiness as well.

I made this recipe a few times using "Lite" soy sauce and did not have a problem- it was geat!!
My DH loves this recipe,

I made it cuz everyone said it was soo good and found it way to soy saucy...I would use much less. just my opinion
