yeah forever coz they were the ONLY people on earth ... Duh Wink

no motek I was envisioning nails like what we got on our fingers and toes, and yeah it comes across to me as ewwwwww.
But I suppose if that was all I knew and if it was our nature today then I would be thinking that soft supple skin was ewwww and that nails were nice.

I finally got around to looking up the Lubavitcher Rebbe's letter on earrings. And what it says there is that it's permitted "Af bigdolah" which I understand to mean "even in an adult". (No, it doesn't mean an adult can have a nosering, in case you were wondering!!! Twisted Evil )
I certainly do not understand how this means only after Bas Mitzvah. I now agree with the person who told me that that's a misinterpretation of the Rebbe's letter. Now my question is - should I tell my daughter? Wink

Ha ha, Pearl that is so cool about that shop in Tzfat..I so would have got an outfit. Think of all the pluses!! Great for pregnancy, great for purim, great for when you just want something to shloch around in the house, hey it could be a housecoat!!
I think I will still pass on the second earring, too painful..hey can you use emla cream an hour before you get it done, to numb the skin...then I would do it. I think due to lack of earrings I went for the lots of bracelets look.
