Any ideas for dishes made with herring?
I was hoping to make a parve Shavuos meal, but dh doesn't like any fish besides for gefilte, matyash and cream sauce herring.
Any ideas of how I can make herring special?
Or should I just make/pickle my own herring, so that that's special

I once remember tasting a herring salad- it was good and Im not a huge herring fan! I wish I had the recipe for you:(
