--Made cookielady's hamentashen dough today--the dough wasn't getting firmer so I added about a cup more flour then I was meant to. Then I realized all the floury part had gone to the bottom of the mixer bowl. The dough came out really tough; I baked a few hamentashen but didn't have the energy to wrestle the rest of the dough into submission so threw it out. I'll try again tomorrow!

Last week I picked up some tomato sauce from the refrigerated section of the grocery store along with the rest of the items on my list, none of which require refrigeration. When I got home I wasn't feeling well so I left the bag on the counter and figured I'd put away my groceries later. I forgot about it for a few days then just shoved everything into the cabinet. Today I stopped by the grocery store to pick up some more pasta. I grabbed some sauce then remembered I had some at home already. I got home, cooked my pasta, pulled the jar of sauce out of the cabinet and realized what I'd done. Since I had no other sauce, I tossed the pasta in some olive oil and tomato paste and called it a day.
It was not my finest moment in the kitchen.

I havent really been keeping up with everyones brainlessness, but I left my garage door open again today....for a few hours. good thing I went out before my husband got home from work
last week I forgot to wash my husbands shabbos shirts, so I washed them friday morning, and they were wet when he went to get dressed.
my daughter had an ear infection and I gave her antibiotics....for two days. but shes not complaining, so I think shes ok.

I was wondering why my nail polish wasn't coming off, no matter how hard I scrubbed with the cotton ball. Then I realized--oops--I soaked the cotton in mouthwash instead of polish remover! Lol, at least my nails smelled nice and minty! Hey, both bottles have a blue liquid in them. It's confusing!

I never cook the pasta first. isn't it really hard to handle when it's soft and sticky?

I work as an assistant at an elementary school and today I was substituting in a grade 1 class. I got the kids ready and started taking them out to lunch a full hour early!
Luckily I realized right away and sent them right back but I felt so bad I played hangman with them for the next hour!

I took my socks off the other day and threw them in the trash instead of the laundry basket. At least laundering them would have been efficient had I not caught myself.

I did the same thing twice recently. I was thinking if I don't get my act together it's going to be a very expensive when I need to buy a new wardrobe. As it wasn't just my socks it was all the clothes I took off. Found them in the trash the next morning. Good thing hubby didn't take out the trash!

I put my big water bottle on top of the car when I put my toddler in his seat. I drove a few feet and heard a huge clunk...thought something had hit me or fallen on the car. Tried to act very natural retrieving the bottle from the top where it had fallen over. Of course I meant to do that!!

I just opened the cabinet where I store ziplocs, aluminum foil, etc and found a box of fresh mushrooms. Ds has no access there so I can't even blame it on him ....

I don't remember whether I shared this already but one fine drowsy morning not so long ago I came VERY close to brushing my teeth with monistat instead of toothpaste. I think what stopped me was that I started to wonder why the toothpaste was coming out so slowly/thin and then I took a closer look at the tube...

I thought it wouldn't show up very well against the background, but maybe I'll do that!
