I understand from LubCoralSprings that the Bp.P. Carvel isn't cholov yisroel anymore.

Any ideas? Thanks, everyone!

The CH one is just molded ice cream and is terrible.

RedSea, have you tasted the Sweet Shack cake?

DS really wants a Carvel one; anyone else?

Red Sea, what flavors have you had? It's both ice cream AND cake, right?

The one on Coney Island and L is called Sweet Choice, and their ice cream is amazing. The coffee ice cream is my favorite. I like it better than Carvel.

Oops on the name, but I dont pay too much attn to the signs, and ice cream doesnt really need a bag IYKWIM. The cakes we bought were all ice cream with a layer of cookie crunch , but I think its cuz I ordered it like that. I do not know what else they do else. The vanilla, choc. and coffee are all real good, I havent tried anything else.

I was just at the one on L & Nostarnd last night & I made sure to look at the cakes. Thay look gorgeous. There's one with "oreos" around the side, but it was a huge cake. I'm sure they taste very good too. It's gonna be the closest you're gonna get to Carvel cuz it doesn't exist anymore!
