Hail to the lady who gave me life
You've always been my hero
With great pleasure I am sharing with you this day
When you say goodbye to chemo.

May the Aibeshter shower you with obvious good
And quickly your strength renew
Nachas and simcha, resources and love
In 5772.

It's rather hard to take a poem that a stranger wrote and pretend you wrote it for your mother. If you tell us a bit about what you'd like to say in your poem, then we could try to get it close to what you want.

Here's one option:

A message to Chemo:

We've dealt with you for many months,
You've made our lives quite sour.
You've made our mother very ill
You've showed us your great power.

Now I get my mother back;
You've finished your tough job.
I know I must say thank you,
Though you often made me sob.

For though made our lives a mess,
You have made her cancer leave.
I'm glad that you are finished
Despite what you've acheived.

As much as we appreciate
The hard work that you've done,
I really love my mother
And this treatment wasn't fun.

So now I'm glad that she can heal,
She has another chance.
I'm so happy for you, Mommy,
That I want to sing and dance.

A message to Chemo:]

I like this.
And thanks, Rochelly. It's the poem I might have written (adjusting for dates) had my mother not been so secretive.
And wbm, yes, it's hard to take a poem a stranger wrote, etc. but that's what everyone who aks for poem help does. I assume that our suggestions are often that, suggestions and springboard and they make our work their own. Fine with me. If I wanted to charge...maybe that'll be my new sig line: "Five cents, please."

Five cents? Wow, you're cheap. I'm expecting $100 for my efforts, whether the OP uses it or not.

Well, lotsa luck on that one.
Then again, maybe Lucy would be charging more now....
