Roasted crisp chicken

apple pie and/or brownies


Shabbos day - guests:

challah and dips
some sort of appetizer
cholent
kishka
deli salad with honey mustard dressing
stuffed shnitzel
zucchini kugel
carrot muffins
watermelon, apple pie, brownies, rainbow cupcakes for the kids

chatzilim and olive dip (homemade)

chicken soup (freezer)

Butternut muffins
roasted veg sun dried tomato pasta
some sort of chicken.


Shabbos day:

Olive dip

humus

Popped rice salad
dill corn salad
roasted veg, basil, sundried tomato pasta
butternut muffins

Meat sushi salad
coriander chicken burgers with sweet chilli sauce

fruit
fruit mousse with laffa chips.

a bit of kishke from chulent

Shabbos day is just some leftovers and chulent.

I think it does. It also helps if your kitchen is setup in a way that everything is accessible easily...
Yesterday, I made potato kugel and strawberry ice cream between 8:15-9:00. This included peeling enough potatoes and onions for a 9x13" pan, washing out the food processor in the middle, and taking a break to skim the soup on the flame.
I felt like it took me longer than usual (still getting used to my new kitchen setup), but those are my most time-consuming foods.

Today I have to spice soup, put in veggies, mix up kniedlach, and put them in. 20 minutes approximately.
Make green bean almondine. 10 minutes.
Coleslaw -- 5 minutes.
Prepare chicken -- 10 minutes.
So another 45 minutes today for that.
