would be an excellent name for a rock band. (Debating if I want to start a chit chat thread on thread titles that could be excellent names for rock bands...feel free, y'all.)

For a Jewish grunge band, I propose the name Three Day Yontif. 'cuz seriously, what's grungier than people after one of those? Smile

LOL! It also echoes "Three-Dog Night".

Where are the makeup gurus?

They hang out at Sephora, but sometimes take a road trip to Bloomies for the MAC counter.

I can't stand when people add apostrophes for plural words!!! Fine I understood when my son in Gr 2 did that (you bet I set him straight!) but I can't understand adults doing that! The worst was when I saw it in a paid ad: "Selling shirt's, skirt's, sweater's, shell's..." Twisted Evil

Buddhist walks into a Sephora and says to the makeup guru: Make up me one with everything.

(Original nusach: Buddhist walks into a Coney Island and says, Make me one with everything.)

What's your favorite fruit?

What are the odds of this one overtaking the camp thread?

Where is my period???

It has gone undercover as a question mark, to fit in with the others.

"How would you describe your contractions?"

Interesting question! I guess I'd describe them this way:

shouldn't - lots of consonants

it'll - reminds me of "a kid'll eat ivy" in maresy doats and doesy doats

ain't - slang

shan't, oughtn't - rather formal

should've, could've, would've - sad, counterproductive

I'm - the shortest contraction

I'll - I like that it has so many vertical lines and rhymes with smile

What should I do with heirloom tomatoes?

First of all, insure them. Then, even though you may think you're young, consider writing a will already so there'll be no hard feelings over their division after 120.

yy: Loved the contractions post!

"where to get white undergarment"
Um, except Fredrick's of Hollywood, I'd say pretty much any place that sells underwear.

What do I do with heirloom tomatoes?

If they've been in your family for generations, I doubt they're still edible.

Cape May, NJ

you looked so very pretty
when we met in ocean city
like someone oh so easy to adore
I sang this little ditty
on our way through ocean city
heading south along the jersey shore

on the way to cape may
I fell in love with you
on the way to cape may
I saw my dreams come true
I was taken by your smile
as we drifted through sea isle
my heart was gone
when we reached avalon
on the way to cape my
stone harbor skies were blue
we were naming the day
when wild wood came in view
if you're gonna be my spouse
we better head for the courthouse
on the way to cape may
on the way to cape may
