I found a good pizza recipe online and have made it with regular flour.
I want to make it with whole wheat flour tonight. do you think I can convert it? and if so, how much ww flour for white flour.
im posting the recipe..

Ingredients:
***Dough:***
1 package Active Dry Yeast
1 cup Warm Water (105 to 115 degrees)
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Oil
2 1/2 cups Flour
***Sauce:***
1/2 cup chopped Onion
1 (8-oz.) can Tomato Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 1/8 teaspoon bottled Garlic, or more to taste
1/8 teaspoon White Pepper

if you have a tried, good whole wheat pizza recipe you can respond with that too.
Thanks

SaraG...I would love your ww pizza dough recipe. whenever I try to convert a regular recipe it always comes out tasting 'off'. I know the flour isn't rancid because everything else is fine. its just the pizza dough.

thanks

complete substitution of ww for white flour usually doesn't work well. Start by subbing about 1/3 ww, then if that's ok sub 1/2 up to 3/4.

I ended up making half a recipe and totally subsituting the flour for ww.
at first I thought it totally flopped and put in more water because it was hard as a rock, and then it was too much water so put in more ww flour...

after all that it came out great Smile it was fluffy and delicious

I have a recipe for regular pizza dough that I got off Imamother. I sub 2/3 ww flour, 1/6 regular and 1/6 high-gluten flour. We like the results.
