I'll give it a try.. but I'll list more then one thing.
when I was married, I couldn't stand it when there was too many things on the shabbos table, so when I went out to wash, I took along the kiddush cup and put it away, when I came back from washing, I put away the towel right after using it, after cutting up the challah, I would put the challah board back into the china closet, same thing with havdalah, while he was doing the fire, I was alredy putting away the besamim..
it made me nervous when the table was full.
another pet peeve, is that I can never finish what I start, so if I want to clean up my house, and see s/thing on the table I'll go to put it away, but then I'll see that there's s/thing in that closet that needs to be fixed, so I go get the tools, then there's s/thing there that's not in place, so I put that away first, so I start million things and dont finish one of them...
another one is that I always take along shopping bags with stuff wherever I go, and when I come home I dump the bags, after a week or so, there are about 15 shopping bags cluttering my house and nothing is in it's place.
another petpeeve, which dosent really happen that much anymore, simply bec. I dont write cards or letters, e/thing is through email today
but when I used to write a letter, I always redid it like 5 times, if there was one mistake on the paper or card, I took another one and restarted, if it wasn't neat enough, I took another one..
also, when I buy a card to send to s/one.. I CAN NOT leave it empty.. for some reason I always HAVE to patchke with it, I add flowers and frames.. I can't leave it empty..
If I think of more, I'll post.

My pet peeve is when people make judgments about others without considering the myriad factors that are involved in the other's behavior or what have you.

WOW! seven senses I dont believe this you really sound like me!! Exactly! I do all does things, not only one of those, but all of them. I always start doing something, and that leads to something else, and another thing. LIke when I decide to clean the table I see something that belongs in the room, so I go to the room, then I see something that has to go to the laundry, so I go take the detergent then I find something else, etc....
Writing letters too... I always used wrire and rewrite 1oo times a letter, if I made a little mistake, or didnt like it I would start all over.... I still do it !
And for sure I always used to "patschke" around the envelope.
Thats funny! It seems like this things go together...
I also cant stand all the things on the table. I always take the wine and kidush cup out right away!

Here is one of many, - small onions. Hate 'em! (I don't mean pearl onions, or shallots, I mean regular cooking onions.)

My kids taking off their shoes without untying the laces or undoing the velcro. It stretches out their shoes and they always tell me, "tattie does it this way."

Mmmmm... maybe ignorants who don't want to learn, or people who are mean for no reason.

a "peeve" is something that annoys you. A "pet peeve" is your favorite (in reality least favorite, most hated) thing that annoys you.
"Peevish" is grumpy or irritable. Sprechen Sie Peevisch?
