But how many hours do you have to wait after family, before you can enjoy friends?
We have been waiting 6 but maybe we don't have to wait that long?

Is anyone else too tired for your DH?
Well, anybody else can be too tired for my DH. I'd like to be the only one awake for him.
And I'm too tired for your DH, too.

Cause we're living in a world of tools

Sorry, couldn't resist. That was my first reaction too!

we belong to you and me...

(yeah, I think this might not have been a hit with these lyrics!)

Note to self: we were talking about the BEE GEES.

I thought of that horrid BeeGees song too, but I thought maybe nobody would catch the reference (I never know how much secular music imamothers know ...)

If you read the lyrics to that particular song, it's actually not as vapid as one might expect... almost poetry:

I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour

I'm a former fan of the Bee Gees so I still know most of their songs by heart.

All I know is that my ten-year-old self, circa 1978ish, wrote a New Year's Eve diary entry (after listening to a radio countdown) in which I expressed my shock in giant capital letters that Stayin' Alive was the number two song that year. (Stairway to Heaven was first - if I'm not mixing everything up here...)

How dare you insult my choice of filtration products!! If you don't approve of my water filter, don't drink my water! But don't shout at me!
