Places to go in LA?

Well, I am sure you dont really expect activities for your baby, you just want places that are kid friendlly.
You can go the Grove, its a really nice shopping center, everyone goes there.
If you are looking for museums, there is a museum mile on Wilshire Blvd. There is also the Getty, but thats in a different location.
At night, there is Universal Citywalk, Hollywood and Highland, 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica.
There is also the Santa Monica Pier, beaches galore for water type stuff, and if you drive down Pacific Coast Hwy, you can find a more secluded area where there are no people for Tznius reasons.
If you really want touristy stuff, there is always Disneyland which is a fortune, you can go to the Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios, the Zoo, you can drive to San Diego for the Wild Animal Park or Legoland.
As for food, there are tons of restaurants in the Pico area, I can reccomend specific ones if you want. It depends on what side of town you are on. There are malls, parks, etc.
There is a lot to do!!! Have fun, I wish I was coming with you!!

those are all places to just walk around and chill
there are nice things too that you can do, there are some beautiful parks, roxbury park, beverly comstock park where you can make a nice picnic and they have clean, fresh playgrounds and sandboxes.
there is a lot to do for kids if you want to go around. check out some hotel lobbies for phamphlets etc.
