I love the taste, hate the smell. Any ideas how to bake salmon or any other fish without it smelling up the entire house?

I don't think that's possible.

You can try to counteract the smell, but I think it would just smell wierd.

Try placing a place of sliced lemons in a oven along with the pan of salmon.
Sorry, wish I had a better answer for you.

I find that is you let the fish sit in lemon juice before you cook it, it takes away some of the fishy taste and smell while baking/eating.

I second the lemon juice solution. I always soak my salmon in lemon juice first, then rinse it and proceed to prepare it according to the recipe I'm following.

I have a friend who taught this to me and it really takes the fishy smell out of the fish: Soak the salmon in cold water with lots of salt and fresh lemon juice, for about 30 mins to an hour before cooking. It really works!

Doesn't the fish taste like lemon?
