Does this site sell e-mail addresses because I just got an ima from s/t like Imastips. Did anyone else get this e-mail?

I am pretty certain this site does not sell email addresses. That would be criminal. I did not get such an email but it probably is spam that just happens to have ima in the name...

Or maybe someone hacked the site.
If no one else received such an email, I would assume that it's just a coincidence.

Also, if the list was sold, there is no reason "Ima" would appear anywhere in the list.
I don't think the site was hacked. Usually many other things happen to a hacked site, and spam to the members is not the first.

It also depends which email carrier you're using. I am starting to get spam emails now using my name as the sender's name.
These hackers are genius's and their brains should be used for SMART things.

A spammer is not a hacker...but yes, it requires some brains to do what they do, but not all too much. Many do get caught, but many do not, as their spam is many times harmless and the law officials don't feel like tracking every spammer down.
Incidentally, any unwarranted email is considered illegal -- if your grandmother gives her friend my email address without my permission and said friend emails me, that friend has done something wrong...not that anyone will do anything about it, but whatever.
