Hey sky, just wanted to tell you again how much we are enjoying your recipe (although my dh prefers a bit less vinegar, so I put 1/4 cup or less).

this is really good:

6 Tbsp mayo
1/2 cup sugar
1 bag shredded cabbage
1/3 cup vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
4 Tbsp hot water.

I add water to make it the consistency that I want.

I make this every shabbos and my dh loves it.

Has anyone ever tried to make this with the Light or Low Fat mayo - if so - what were the results???

I make it with low fat mayonaisse and its very good. however, I find it spoils very fast. Normally it will last me 2 - 3 days. When I make it low fat it sometimes lasts one day and that is it.
