I remember someone mentioning a pomergrante seed salad in a thread somewhere, but I can't find that thread. Does anyone have the recipe because it sounds like a nice salad for R"H. TIA.

romaine lettuce greens
red onion slices
pomegranate seeds
dressing (from pinktichel)
1/4 cup grape juice
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt

Thanks for posting! I hope to try it, but I think I'll use a little bit of white cooking wine instead of the vinegar, as I don't like to use lemon juice on Rosh Hashana either...

if you make the dressing with white wine- let me now how it comes out. I would love to make this for rosh hashana but we dont use vinegar or lemon juice.
please let me know how it is with the wine?
are there any other alternatives for the vinegar?

with vinegar, but measurement's not a lot- recipe makes enough dressing for almost two salads - white wine should be a good substitute, that's prob what I'll do

looks really yummy and super easy (and not alot of chopping) will try to remember to make this for rosh hashanah
(maybe ill try out the dressing this or net shabbas and see which way I prefer it!)

I made it for last RH and I liked it better when I used spinach instead of the lettuce and added mangoes.
