agreeing with the yetzer hora!

Anyone read the article by Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss this week? I dont usually read it, however it caught my attention this week because of the way it was structured. It was presented as a conversation between Rabbi MM Weiss and the yetzer hora.

I wish I could provide a link to the article but I can't find it on the jewish press online.

Although his purpose in this article is to teach some halacha about the laws of prayer (amen, borchu etc) I find it extremely strange that he and the yetzer hora are having an agreement about the terrible things Jews do while davening.

What about being dan lekaf zchus?! Bop the yetzer hora on the head, tell him to go fly a kite, and tell him about all the reasons why the yidden might be doing this, and that because of all their tzoros moshiach MUST come!! Although you don't encourage such behavior among jews, nevertheless, what kind of business is this AGREEING with the yetzer hora??!!! Tell the yetzer hora that if he cant tell you nice things about other jews, he should SHUT UP!!

Anyone following my viewpoint?

yes, they've been running them for a few weeks now. I also like them.

I used to get his tapes reguarly.....

I didn't read the article, I don't get the Jewish Press. I can't really comment much without seeing it, and I've never heard of this rabbi before, however, based on your detailing of the article, it sounds like he was not a Talmid of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Bertichov.
