IYH I'll teach English.
If this year, I'll teach 12th grade (17 to 21?) boys in an Orthodox school. If in September, probably middle school boys at the same school. I wish I could teach girls, or the primary school when it's still mixed (and easy Wink ).

They had a car maintenance workshop for women at a place here, and I went. Its important to know how to check oil, fill up gas, check anti-freeze, transmission fluid, add wiper fluid, know how to change tire etc.

also good to know what colors the different fluids are so if u have a leak, you know how safe or unsafe it is to drive your car!

Besides car management, where do you get the rest of your home management material? I teach a life skills class at a post HS seminary and am always looking for new material.

Why does almost everyone answering this post have such choppy teaching careers? as opposed to , say, "7th grade math for the past 10 years"? I am relieved that I'm not the only one. Seems like I'm not the only one who is overqualified and undercertified.
I taught preschool, many elementary grades, jr. high american history, and now I am doing a preschool, not to call it a playgroup , in my home, which is the very very best! I am my own principal, make all the rules, all the decisions, all the money (not so much) and have all the fun!!!
