Sprtiz the paper once or twice with a very fine plant mister or atomizer.

For the last time, I don't think either side should be obligated to buy an apartment for -- oh, wait. It's not about that. |
Hehe...I thought that also - I wasn't going to open it, because I didn't want to see yet another post on "parent/in-law rules."

louche wrote: | How is Israeli gefilte fish different from American brands?
The new Fier Kashes in the recently published "Haggaddah for Olim Chadashim":
Because American gefilte comes in jars or in caaaaans, Israeli is only in caaaaans.
Beacuse american gefilte is whitefish or caaaarp, Israeli is only caaarp.
Beacuse american gefilte doesn't have even a little bit of spices, Israeli has toons of spices.
Because in America some people refuse to eat it, in Israel, we aaaaall refuse to eat it. |
Too funny! Love this!

coworkers son's wedding--what do I get as a present?
You don't get anything as a present; the coworker's son and his kallah get the presents.

How do you get blood out of a silk tie?
No, no, sweetie, the expression is "you can't get blood from a STONE." A stone, not a silk tie.
Or are you thinking of "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"?

borders in bathroom
Yes, it is very important to teach your kids about respecting borders in the bathroom. No walking in when someone else is in there, no asking "what are you doing there?", no peeking through the keyhole, etc.

"Help! We've never gone away w/o kids for 15 years!"
I know it's a controversial topic going on vacation and leaving the kids, but I'm sure even those who are all for it wouldn't dream of leaving their kids for that long!

"How much is meat by you?"
Give me a large serving of beef and I call that meat. Anything less isn't meat by me.

Can you just buy regular linen and immerse it in a mikvah?

Dunno, Atali. If its for your husband's bed, the fitted sheet might need a bris first.
