Does anyone have or know of any good cookbooks? I happen to love the Garden of Eating. Although it is no longer in print.

I love cookbooks - and I'm always going on the internet to get recipes too.

Spice and Spirit has lots of good and easy recipes
Also
Kosher By Design
Kosher Palette
Silver Palette

That's a few to start - I've lots more - let me know what kind of recipes you're looking for - I.e. kid friendly, health conscious, etc.

I find the Heimishe Kitchen series to be very good. They have four cookbooks, I believe - two general, one healthy cooking and one simcha cooking.

My current best source for great new recipes is epicurious.com. It's a great website and they have thousands of recipes, with feedback from people who have tried them. Highly recommended!

Didi - it's not a kosher cookbook, but it has some yummy recipes. I bought the book specifically for a Chicken Marbella recipe which is amazing - a little bit of work, but worth every second - it tastes wonderful and impresses guests There is also an excellent bean salad recipe.

forever, I am SSSSSSSSSSOoooooooooo impressed. really. tell ur parents that they inspired me. I will file that little tidbit away for when my daughter gets married. hope I'll remember until then (she's only 10.5). wow!!
the heimishe cookbook series is great. it's got the basics and then some. also the balabuste's choice is a great one for everything from bread/challah to fancy cakes to basics and some great salads.
I remember when I got married, the running joke in my family was "dont lose the recipe for toast" cuz that was the only thing I knew how to make. back then, the heimishe cookbook saved my culinary life.

willow, would you like a free cookbook?

I have compiled a list of recipes on my computer, in cookbook format. It currently has 34 pages with an average of 5 recipes per page...I can email it to you if you're interested...
