Hi I am looking for games/activities to promote team building/social skills that I can use with my class as a special activity. Someone mentioned to me the following games: Loshon Hora & Achdus. Both of these have been used by Bnos as well. Does anyone have the directions/details typed up or can send it to me? Thanks so much.
A caring Morah.

wow, I logged on to post a request for help on my dd's bas mitzvah party. We are going with an achdus theme.
We are looking for games that need at least 2 people to work together. So far, we have the 3 legged race.
I will post the bas mitzvah question as soon as I figure out where it should go.

I don't know if this would work, but I did this with my high school class this year and it was a lot of fun.
warning: the game involves a lot of physical contact!
I divided the class into teams of 3 students. I put a piece of chart paper on the floor in front of each team and told them that the paper was their boat, the classroom floor the ocean, and if they were not completely in their boat, they would drown lol.
so the teams had to step onto the paper, easy enough.
but for round 2, they had to fold their paper in half and attempt it again. still simple.
each subsequent round they had to keep folding in half and fit their teams on.
these kids were climbing on shoulders, lifting each other up, balancing on each others' feet, etc.
it was amazing to watch, as this class was usually quarrelsome. they worked together amazingly to get on that piece of paper! I was really shocked that the activity lasted nearly 30 minutes with my group.
something simple and also fun is the human knot, which I've found classes to enjoy as well.

Human Bingo, make sure to ask things they wouldn't know about each other. What color is their toothbrush etc... Puzzle game where you have pairs that fit together and they each only get one piece. They must find their teammate by solving the riddles on their puzzle pieces.
maze where one person walk through while blindfolded and another person has to call out instructions. This also works with balls and buckets. 1 bucket has all the balloons or balls and the goal is to move all the balls to the other bucket, but the one doing the moving is blindfolded and the other person has to call out directions where the bucket is. To make it harder use colored balls that go in specific buckets.

ive done a really fun game that teaches the kids that we sometimes need to put our stregnths together to succeed.
Step 1: find eiter a picture that you cut into puzzle peices or a Pitgam, and put a different word on each strip, and hide it in an opne area (playground, backyard) each team should have a color, so lets say the pink team will havethier papers in pink, blue in blue etc..
then divide the groups up
I make groupd of 2. In each group, one kid is bildfolded, while the other has her hands ties behind her back. they need to find the pieces and then put the pic or message together.
It is really hard to figure out how to pick up the pieces, and forces them to communicate with eachother. Thsi game really builds achdus and my students are always amazed afterwards!

Could you explain the Human Bingo in more detail please? Sounds interesting.
