I just bought my kids LE coats for that reason. I can't stand when the zippers all break.

My kids wear them. I buy them on sale, and because they are always guaranteed I can ship them back if I'm unhappy - even if it's a few years later.
If I feel I got my money's worth, then I won't.
But a coat should really last for a few kids.

I like it alot but the zipper broke and now I need to figure out how to return it, as she doesn't have another coat warm enough, for while the exchange is taking place. otherwise they are supposed to be very good. |
You can take it into a Sears store that has a "Lands End Department" and exchange it. Or, you can reorder and send the one you have back (they will provide a return label if you tell them) and they will credit your credit card when they receive the return.
