Project ideas for baby food jars

Calling all the creative Imamothers . . .. I have all these baby food jars and I know that teachers use them for projects. Anybody have any good ideas? Thanks.

My son made the following project in camp -

layered colors of sand in the baby food jar.

It was part of a "beach" theme day!

Hello!! yes!! I know a few

- Besamim jars....let the kids decorate them punch holes at the top and add spices (for havdalah)
- pins and needles holder....let them decorate the jar, find a foam ball that fits inside, cover with fabric and glur to the inside...instant pind and needles saver for mommy
- fake flower pots
- spice jars
- tzedaka (open a slot at the top)
- air freshener jar (decorate with ribns etc and fill with potpourri

need more??

I heard someone who filled them up with little toys and colored sand and glued them onto a wooden board for a....menorah!

Thanks for all the replies! Keep them coming. I should mention that I have a two year old--she loves to do projects with mommy.

Wow, I thought for sure someone would have mentioned this--bee honey jars for Rosh Hashana!
Tovel the jars. Paint the outsides with black & yellow stripes. Attached black pipe cleaners for the wings and a half foam head glued to the cover and painted yellow with pipe cleaners for antennae. Glue on some googly eyes and there you have it! Ready for DH to drop in on the floor and smash to smithereens! (Yes, DH did this several times after DDs came home with it! Poor guy, he felt so bad, not to mention DD.)
