Yes, I know it's really soon to start thinking now about graduation time. It's just that my little sister was talking to me about her ads for her yearbook which got me thinking. And also now is a really great time to shop cuz of all the sales. so- I came up with an awesome (IMHO) gift idea for lil sis!
I'm the oldest of four and I only have this one sister. since I never had a big sister, I want to give her the best experiance I can. here is my idea:

I want to give her a whole beauty set. That means: a cosmetics bag filled with essentials (and just fun stuff) like moisterizer, face wash, makeup remover, eyelash curler, lip gloss/stick/balm, eye liner, foundation, tweezers, acne cream, clear maskara, etc... Part of the gift will be to teach her how to use it all, tell her what goes first, explain that concealer NEVER goes without moisterizer, etc...

what I need from all of you is to tell me A- what is inappropiate (yes I know all you older people stay away from liner, but I would like her to have it). B- am I missing something, and C- I can't decide if it would be better if I just buy it all myself and give it to her in one shot, or take her along to pick designs, colors, textures, etc and use it all for the first time on her big day.

Take her to a certain place - Mac is good for young people, or clinique which is classic but good for your skin, or even sephora. Have a professional do it for her. Make a day in the city of it - have lunch, go to macy's, buy it all.

ye, see the thing is- I'm not made of $$ so I'll feel real bad if she wants something that I can't afford. or if she'll say- I don't want this (something important), I want this (something not so essential)
