You know, the Mods from the '60s. As opposed to the Rockers. Perhaps the Mods were not know as particularly friendly.

Yeah, right

Well that's a bit harsh.

You don't need to agree with every call they make, but they're volunteers, and they spend time and effort trying to keep imamother working!

Apologies if this was a joke and I'm overreacting. But I've been a moderator on BBs, and it's way more work than you'd think, and often thankless - if you make a mistake or questionable judgment call, 100 people jump on you, but very few people thank you when it all goes smoothly.

"Help with Show & Tell"

OK, I will try to make it as simple as possible so you can understand.

Step 1: Choose something to bring to school.

Step 2: Show your class what you brought.

Step 3: Tell your class about what you brought.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Under Parenting our Children:

"Changing eye color"

I'm sorry, but no matter what techniques you use or which doctors you see you cannot change your child's eye color. It's genetic.

"Refresher on mikvah rules"

- Don't come too close to closing times
- Be respectful of other people coming and going
- Don't use bleach on the towels
- Don't wait until you are at the mikvah to ask sheilahs
- Clean up your loose hairs
- Leave the prep room presentable when you leave

Patching

Why is this under "chinuch" rather than "household management"?

Oh, you mean "potching".

How do you pronounce Antarctica?

Instead of speculating, ask Aunt Arctica herself.

And here I was thinking that it belonged under "Children's Health" - y'know, the treatment for lazy eye... Now I'm worried someone will call Child Protection on me since my son was patched for 3 hours a day for quite sometime...
