what sauce with chicken and potatoes?

I want to make chicken with potatoes for supper tonight- I've never done it before (believe or not Smile

)
I want it to be sort of sweet- do you have any recipes for a good sauce that I can bake this with?

BBQ sauce is good for chicken and potatoes. This can go in the crockpot or in the oven.

Pour 1-1/4 cups duck sauce over a pan of 4 portions of chicken and potatoes.

2 tbsp. onion soup mix
3 tbsp. apricot jam
2 tbsp. orange juice
3 tbsp. brown sugar

Pour over 4 portions chicken. Bake.

Was going to say what you did ra_mom, but I would add if you sprinkle pepper, paprika and garlic powder over the chicken and potatoes and bake it for a bit before you pour on the duck sauce and continue baking it tastes awesome!

spice the chicken first:black pepper,garlic powder and paprika
mix in a cup brown sugar and ketchup with a little warm water.
pour over chicken and bake.
