Every pair of stockings I wear rips that day (and my pocketbook is always full of backup pairs). It's annoying and expensive. Anybody know of durable winter stockings for people with very wide legs?

Spanx comes in all sizes, regular to plus. They are expensive, but their tights are amazing! Spanx makes the tights that have control and go all the way up to your bra-strap so there are no lines...all smooth! I can get one or two pairs of tights and they last me the entire winter (and honestly longer) they never rip! The stockings do rip though...I can get 2-3 wearings and then they rip (and they are really expensive). All in all stockings not worth it but the tights are!!

If you wear knee socks try Condor. They don't leave lines, on me, at least .... your mileage may vary...
