Any recommendations?

TMI: I've been having extremely heavy periods. Just the first couple of days and then it goes back to normal flow. During the day I usually just change my pad frequently but over Succos we were sitting for a long time in the succah and I went back to my room afterwards and discovered I had bled right through my pad, underwear, pantyhose, slip, and dress. So embarrassing! And at night I started sleeping on top of a towel to protect my sheets and I use the super long purple pads plus an extra pad across the top and bottom and I still stain my pajamas. It's ridiculous already! Maybe period underwear will help? Especially if I use a pad with it?

Same. I wear these with the purple liner but on their own on lighter days.

I use Hanes Super, which is good, but you might want to try a menstrual disc. You can empty it every time you go to the bathroom, and you can buy disposable ones or reusable.

Try period shorts will give you more coverage if having such heavy flow. Make sure your getting the correct strength

Like boy shorts underwear? Will that work under pajama pants? And do you have a brand you recommend?

On heavy days I wear the disposable underwear from always. I find that it runs big. I’m using the L and I’m a 1x

Period Co is super woke but they make the shorts that are supposed to be for the very heaviest flows. I haven't tried them.

When I had heaVy periods I use poise pads meant for incontinence - use the thickest size (overnight?) and extra long.

If it’s that heavy you may want to discuss with the Dr

What you’re describing sounds a little too heavy.. I would recommend discussing it with a doc
