How can I hide my chubbiness on my back. I have a specific dress that I made for a simcha that I am having problems with . I never used to have all this fat I look really good in it besides for the bulges that my bra straps accentuate. Is there anything I can get like a girdle on top to make everything smooth?

get a one piece bra, its like a bathing suit but with a supportive bra and the entire thing has support. I was told by the person in the lingerie store not to wear a panty either so you dont have any lines...

You need a control tank-top, which is cut higher in back than a conventional bra. Check out Shape fx company. especially Shape fx® Secret Sculptor™ High-Back Tunic

Just beware to check out where the bulge lands up.

You think this has enough support without a bra? I'm a b c cup size.

Sorry I didn't explain it right. It's really a jumper with a shell. It fits me right, & isn't too tight. It just doen't look good that you can see a bulge under the arm by the shell. I am going to buy a bigger shell, but that won't take away the problem completely. I need to get rid of this fat . In the meantime, I need to cover it up.

The high-back tunic has a built-in underwire.

when you have bulges in certain places, they show even in loose-fitting clothes. Back fat is particularly nasty b/c the part of the bra circling the ribcage needs to fit snugly to provide support. That means it's going to dig into the flesh and create bulges.

I think I need to get that one. They don't show the back, so I'm not sure. I can't order it because I won't get it ontime. I need it for the begining of the week. Where in boro park can I pick up something like this?

Is there a Daffy's in Boro Park? They carry similar shapewear. I would guess that any lingerie store / department would have them as well.

Yep, that's exactly the one I mean. You may need to wear a bra underneath it anyway, if you're not comfortable with the level of support this gives. Sorry I have no idea where to buy it in BP as I'm not from there, but I've seen many references here to a lingerie place called Sapoosh (? what kind of name is that--does it mean "underwear" in Hungarian or something?) which I gather is a high-end (no pun intended) full-service corsetierie.

I can go to the city for Daffy's or any department store. But I realy don't feel like shclepping on sunday when the kids are home. I guess I will call the local lingerie stores as sooon as they open. I hope one of them will have something like this. But I'm sure it won't be as cheap as online.

I love the Spanx "all the way up" stockings and tights, they go until right under your bra.

Le Bon (on 13th and 49th st) sells some spanx products. I'm not sure if they have one that would suit your needs, but you can try.
