I am used to bringing along a gift whenever I go to a simcha (vocht Nocht, Bar Mitzvah, Wedding if I stay for the meal ) but in my husbands family they dont believe in giving gifts. Do I take a gift to one of the above mentioned simchas?

It's proper etiquette to give a gift when invited to a simcha such as bar mitzvah, wedding, wedding shower, etc. Provided you are invited for the full simcha and not just for dancing.

I also believe its proper etiquette but if the entire family doesnt believe in it?
I give approx $100-$180 cash present for a very close wedding like a sibling or neice or nephew but if they dont give and wont ever give ti my kids do I go with my belief or theirs?

I find it rude when people don't give gifts when they go to a Bar Mitzvah or wedding. It costs the host $$$ to feed you.
By our wedding alot of people did not give gifts from DH's side.
