Whatever my sons are making. Yippee!! They feel sorry for all the cooking I did over Tishrei. Aaaw...sweet! So far they've made Kugel & fish. They went to defrost chicken last night & defrosted 2 huge bags of wings instead so they ate wings last night & we'll have wings as well today.
My oldest just wandered in & I asked him why he's awake so early. He said he has a lot to do. I told him he sounds just like me! All I have to do is bake challah. This is a treat...I'm going to take a nice long shower, go to the library, & say all my Tehillim & daven in a timely fashion.

This is the biggest meal I have been able to make in a while because of a broken arm. BH we have been invited out for one meal for every Shabbat for the past 2 months, besides RH and ST and are invited out tonight:
Challa - bought ( I am not up to kneading yet)
zuccini and onion in ketchup sauce
mushrooms and scallions in soy dressing
cabbage in olive oil and lemon juice (son had to squeeze the lemons for me)
kugel yerushalmi (I was amazed that I could lift the pot to drain the noodles, and could mix the mixture)
whole grilled chicken
bought cake and melon for dessert.
Chasdei H' how the body heals and allows us to do what is normal.
