My recipe is cut a thin slice of chicken cutlet and lay flat on a puff pastry square. Put a tablespoon of filling (see below) or just a slice of pastrami on top and bend in the cutlet and dough to form a closed square.
Filling:
sautee onion & mushrooms, until translucent & soft. turn off flame, & add about 3 teaspoons of bread crumbs, and some spices. add cut pieces of pastrami. mix together.

Bake on 375 uncovered for about an hour - until the dough is golden brown.

You can serve this with either mushroom sauce on top after you bake it, or 15 minutes before its done, pour duck sauce on top for a sweet taste.

I either do a large roll or individual ones but I shmear ducksauce on the dough put a piece of chicken cuttlet than pastrami if its the large sheet I roll it if its the squares I fold either triangle(boureka shape) or rectangle than brush the dough with an egg wash and bake at 350 tillgolden if you like sesame seeds feel free to ad dit dress it up.

I make chicken-pastrami rollups. Slice a cutlet in half length-wise so that it's thin, and roll up each piece with a slice of pastrami jelly-roll style. Mix spicey brown mustard and mayonnaise (or a honey-mustard mix) and smear on a puff-pastry square, place a roll in the center, fold corners in (overlapping a little) like an envelope, and place seam-side down on a greased pan. Brush with eggs and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake at 350 for approx. 40 minutes (until chicken is baked).
