Beware waterproof eyeliner. It can be a real bear, resistant to the best makeup remover, so if mikveh is anywhere on your horizon you should opt for something less than waterproof.

Yes. There's a spray you can use to seal and waterproof your makeup. You can probably purchase it at a local makeup artist. (I would not recommend it for use on a regualr basis, as it will clog your pores, but it is available.)

Thanks for your replies.
I am not big on the eye liner, so I can do without.
I am more concerned about my foundation/concealer & blush since I have acne & blemishes to conceal.
Anyone tried this spray? Is it effective?
What would be better, waterproof makeup (thanks straight for the links) or my regular, excellent perscriptives makeup with the above spray?!?

I've used sprays, but found that none really work as well asa good long lasting makeup product.
Try to use a long-lasting, waterproof foundation with a clay based concealer (like bobbi brown touch up stick). This gives good coverage and has real staying power.
Top it off with a layer of sheer, matte pressed powder like clinique stay matte powder foundation or mac studio fix .
I have hard skin (poily, ane prone)- Makeup usually slides off my face, but this really worked for me.
If you tend to get shiny, I also recommend that you pick up clean and clear oil absorbing sheets at any drugstore. They absorb shine without disturbing your makeup and I personally swear by them.

I use Ben Nye LiquiSet on brides. I use it with cake liner and it lasts well.
As per what to use...if you love your regular makeup and don't mind spraying yourself up to waterproof it, do so, but I'd personally use waterproof makeup instead. For foundation, Revlon Colorstay is a good choice.
