this is really good and not fishy!
spread mayo on fish
sprinke paprika, onion powder, garlice powder, pepper and salt
cover in corn flake crumbs
(do this on both sides)
bake for 20-25 minutes on 350, yum!

thanks happymom -
1)do I have to grease the pan
2) do I have to bake on both sides, or just one side?
I really dont like fish, so I hope this isnt fishy. Also did you ever hear of rubbing lemon juice into the fish first for taking away more of the fishy taste?

I HATE fish and my dh loves it, so I have taken to putting single slices of fish in a peice of silver foil with a little oil, adding any topping (im not one for recipes I jsut put whatever) making the silver foil into a pocket and baking, it always comes out perfect! and no fishy smell or any mess

you do not have to grease the pan. YOU only need to bake on one side:)

sefardim eat fish and milk. As far as I know the only people who don't are chabad.

Hi, I'm new here... I'm pretty sure that sefardim do not eat fish and milk. I had a sefardi roommate and I once made tuna melt and I remember she could not eat it! =)

Chabad will eat fish with milk as long as you have added some cream into it. (Smetene)

my sister is sephardi - married - and has been married 15 years. she knew she couldn't eat milk and fish, but didn't realize until last year it meant lox and cream cheese. so as far as I know from her and from some friends sephardim don't eat dairy and fish.

this is an old thread, and some of the posters haven't been on for a long time. the way I cook tilapia, as well as flounder, sole etc. is to season with garlic powder, and smear with olive oil, some soy sauce. I don't cover it. sometimes I broil, and sometimes bake.
