When I've used videos I've been very happy with the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds ones. No dancing, no routines, just marching, kicking, sidesteps, knee lifts etc set to music.

I have the Leslie Sansone ones. I don't like them at all. I know that is not much help. I have one I never even opened. I think I'll stick to my exercise machine.

The Firm videos are great, they target many different "problem zones" so you can rotate or only do the ones you need. I personally like the full body workout with Janet (she's blonde and wears a white bodysuit).

Denise Austin- Power Zone is a good one to start with. There's an aerobic section, firming/ toning section, and abdominals. You switch off doing aerobics one day, the rest the next day, and so on. I also do tae bo. Sometimes I go power walking/ jogging. You can pm me for more if you want.

I highly recommend "Winsor Pilates". It's fun, it's interesting, and accomplishing too.

But exercise videos aren't going to necessarily get the weight off, not the toning ones I use anyway.
You need cardio for that - walking, biking, aereobics, etc.

I think The Firm videos are the best. You can buy them used on amazon.com - the original volumes 1,2 and 3 are my favorites and I've been doing them for over 15 years. They guarantee results in 10 workouts and it's 100% TRUE. The first three volumes are no longer available unless used, I think. Just so you know, they use free weights and ankle weights, and a step-up box for volume 3.
Good luck!!
