my 6 1/2 year old is 85% dry at night. She hates when she wets. - she asked me to wake her up before I go to sleep which does work I think but I feel so bad waking her. She is such a deep sleep. (sometimes I sleep walk her to the toilet and she has no clue where she is going)
Do you wake your kids to use the bathroom at night?

Every night 11PM-12AM before I go to sleep. 3-4 hours after they go to sleep. It helps 98% of the time.
Neither child knows they have been brought come the morning. They even talk to me sometimes but they are sleepwalking.

I always laugh when I see my son running to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

try to limit drinks a few hours before bed time. my son is also 6.5 year old and up to a month ago wet his bed about once a week. I don't take him to the bathroom at night because I feel that it didn't really help that much. I did but him night time training diapers that pull up like underwear. He has worn these when his bed wetting was more regular.

Yes we do and it helps a lot! He's 7, and in the morning doesn't remember that we woke him. He's a deep sleeper and does not appear ready to stay dry at night consistently.

Is taking to the bathroom 3-4 hours after falling asleep, gonna make him stay dry all night? I have a 6-1/2 year old that still wets his pull-ups EVERY night.
